Collection of Information
As an E-commerce website we collect limited personally identifiable information as needed for the processing of moving or storage quotes, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc. (collectively referred to as “PII”). In general, the information you provide, is used for billing and to fulfill your specific requests, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists. We do not share, sell, rent or trade PII with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Information you provide – When you arrange for a service or promotion that requires registration, we ask you for personal information (such as your name, email address and an account password). For certain services, such as our moving or storage programs, we also request credit card or other payment account information, which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other California Movers Alliance services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information.
Log information – When you access or contact our website, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

Updating Your PII

In general, you can update, change or delete your PII by accessing the My Account, if applicable and signing in using your username and password. Once you sign in to the My Account, you can update your PII by following the directions displayed.
If forget your password when signing in to the My Account, there is a link you can click on which will email you a new password. If you forget your username, you need to contact our customer service.
You may choose to restrict our use of your information by indicating such restrictions in your account when asked. When you provide Information via the Site and if you consent to us contacting you for this purpose, as required by law, we may use the Information to occasionally notify you about special promotional programs and other valuable services we offer.
